James W. Almand
James W. Almand has been with the firm since 1977 following service in the Army Judge Advocate General Corps (1972-1975) and as an associate dean at the University Of Maryland School Of Law (1975-1977). His practice is concentrated in family law, real estate, general litigation, and condominium and HOA law. Mr. Almand has been recognized as a "Super Lawyer," and he is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell. He graduated from the University of Florida with a BS degree in journalism (1969) and a juris doctor degree (1972). He was admitted to practice in Maryland in 1976, Florida in 1972 (inactive), U.S. Supreme Court (1980) and the Court of Military Appeals (1976).
